SMS Copyright

Dear Sir, Can I create a commercial website (i.e. with ads on it) which has only a collection of well known puzzles and sms jokes. The website will not have anything other than these or does it amount to infringement of copyright? I am not sure if jokes or popular puzzles such as Einstein's puzzle have copyright in the first place..... Thanks!
