in 2009 i got expartee decree of divorce from the family court against my wife. she filed 498A after 8 months from then now the case is in the lower court. is it possible to quash the
FIR now by filing petition in the high court.

you can file a case in high court for quashing of 498A

Yes. You can only file in High Court for quashing u/s 482 Crpc.
