i got customary divorce on 1997 and remarriage on1999.my old wife filed a case u/s 494 against me. what can i do what will be punishment

in case customary divorce is not valid, you may be held liable for bigamy. instead of worrying about the punishment, sort out ur defence.

unless custom are held as valid customary divorce is null and void. so if you can't prove valid custom try to defend the case.
