Dear Sir / Madam,
An FIR should be lodged at the nearest Police station stating that the amount was stolen inside the bank premises and despite requesting the security personnel to apprehend the thief, he did not respond. A copy of the FIR along with a separate letter to the Branch Manager requesting the bank to account for the theft is recommended.
