Legal Question in Constitutional Law in India
Please be infomred that I am living a group housing society of DWARKA for the last 7 years. I am the owner and we are not the tenants, the flat is in our name. For the last 3 months I am being harrassed by the President and the scretary of the society. Our's is the first floor and there is a seepage problem on the ground floor . I and my wife are getting letters time and again to get the repairs done for the ground floor. The Seepage is not coming from our flat but from the 4th or 5th floor flat. The president of the society is an advocate and keeps sending letters to us. We have been replying to their letters but it has become nuisance. They have also marked 2-3 letters to the Police Station of dwarka. We have never fought with them. The president is an advocate and always writes from advocate President XYZ for ABC sopciety on letters. What shud I do. i am a retired person and wife is also 57 yrs old.

if the seepage is not coming from your flat than
let them do what they want to as u have replied them
but if its not your fault they can not force u for such kind repairs.
talk to the resident of 4th and 5th floor
you may get in touch with a lawyer and he would send the appropriate reply to the letters sent by the president and if need be, a civil suit for nuisance and damages can be filed against the society and the owners of the flats from where the seepage or leakage is there.
