Legal Question in Constitutional Law in India
respected sir ,
i am ganesh agarwal from nasik. . the contractor of octri department of nasik municipal corporation cheated and harrased me. facts are as below, i has purchased clothing goods from aurangabad with original bill. due to mistake of car driver we carried that goods at nasik without paying proper octri. then the squad of 20 persons with dept. commissioner from octri department with agent of collection agency came at my shop and told that you had not paid octri for the goods and demanded Rs. 1 lac. At that time i replied the total price of goods is Rs.1,94,000/- so the proper octri for that is Rs. 3,800/- and with penalty it is Rs. 44,000/-. They threatened me that if i not paid thier demand of Rs. 1,00,000/- they will seal my shop. Due their this threat i paid them Rs. 65,000/-. I also demanded the receipt for this amount. They promissed me to give the receipt. They also gave receipt of this amount to me. But when i seen those receipt i was shocked. becoz they gave me receipt for electrical goods and my goods were clothing goods. also the car number which receipt carries is also wrong also the naka number is also wrong.so they supplied me a forged and wrong receipt and misappropriated my money and cheated me. by aggrieved by this act of these people i want to file writ petition/ p.i.l. for that.
so please advised and help me and oblige.

you do have a cause of action but not public interest writ. you may file criminal complaint against the officers. why would you not look at the receipt when they handed you the same.
