Legal Question in Constitutional Law in India

Supreme Court

Supreme Court in its order on 6/5/2009 up held removal of the President of State Consumer Forum by Madras High Court by deciding on Quo warranto petition.

The Supreme Court had commented in its Judgment that Chief Justice of Madras High Court had not performed the consultation process for appointment of the President. It also felt the Chief Justice action in these regards are very much short of what was expected of a person holding such responsible position.

As on date the Chief Justice in this context is elevated to the post of Supreme Court Judge. In view of the judgment of 6/5/2009, will such elevation will come in the scan by legal quarters. My interest in the ongoing case is that I suffered very badly by the Judgments of the deposed President in end of 2008

Re: Supreme Court

You may better forget your sufferance and accept the final verdict. However, an effort may be made to challenge the judgement before the National Commission and / or the Supreme Court of India.

No action may be maintainable against the then CJ, now elevated as a Supreme Court Judge.
