Get an anticipatory bail from the court having jurisdiction over the police station which has registered the case. Then thereafter contest it by participating in the trial. If the person has good grounds that the complaint is baseless or no allegation against him, then he may plead for discharge before the trial court or go for quashing of FIR before the High court.
