Reg construction

Sir,

My neighbor has constructed a toilet room in his premises, but near our common compound wall. Though it is constructed inside his area , it is close to my house . ie � near my house. I heard that it can be objected. Please tell me the procedure to tackle this. These are independent houses.

The facts given in your statement are not sufficient for an appropriate opinion.

If the area is governed by any building bye-laws being enforced by any local authority like a municipal committee, you may approach the authorities for a copy of the 'sanctioned building plans'. If the toilet is not 'sanctioned' you may file your objection and seek its removal/demolition by the authorities.
