how to stop an illegal construction, which has already been elevated to some extent without leaving the fire gap space.

Make a representation before the Govt. authority and ask them to stop and demolish the said illegal construction and if they dont do it ,file a writ petition before the High Court making the govt authority as a party along with the person who is indulging in illegal construction.
