Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
my BSNL landline is out of order from past 2 months. the company is still sending me bills. now i need to know that i am not using any facilities provided by them and i still need to pay the bills. i want to know how can i fight this. can i go to consumer court for the same or any complaint centre at the BSNL?

BSNL have its own complaint center. plz explain your location then we may guide you for that center. You may also approach to the consumer court.
as per law if you are not using telephone then they cannot charge even a single panny from you. It is a latest judgment of national consumer.

Yes, you may go to consumer court as also the BSNL court, if any.
You have not mentioned about any complaint made by you to BSNL regarding your landline.
If you have a proof of complaining to BSNL for your landline being out of order and instead of getting the service resumed, you are being billed for the same, you may approach consumer forum.
