Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
If the cheque bounces, what is the procedure? i want my money back peacefully but that person is not even picking up the phone...?

u need to send a legal notice within one month of bouncing of the cheque and if he does not pay up within 15 days of receiving the cheque, you may file a complaint.

You have options galore. You can file both cicvil and criminal case for recovering your money and punishing the defaulter as well.Yiou can file a criminal complaint under negotiable instrument act. You are at advantage. You can surely get back your money without too much pain and you can maintain your peace.
