cheque inquiries

i was given cheque of rs.10,800 for 25th april 2009 and the cheque has bounced? now what should i do...i want to take very serious step but i do not have any idea. kindly help....should i approach court or police...if both what is the consequences.??

If the cheque was meant for discharging

some liability, then give a lawyer

notice to pay the amount and failing which

a criminal proceeding may be initiated.

If you only keep thinking, then the consequences are that you will lose your money.

Approach a good lawyer at once.

The legal notice has to be given within 30 days and the case has to be filed within 45 days after that.
