Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
Is it compulsory to disclose our phone nos. to the courier company even if the recipient himself is signing for it? Can the courier company refuse to hand over mail if we do not give our phone no. Some couriers say that it is a policy of the courier company, while others say that it is insisted upon by the company sending the mail and they have been instructed to return the mail to the company if the addressee refuses to give a phone no.
