Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
Consumer Fraud - I had purchased one mini sewing machine through internet. The produce was a defective one and the Company had asked me to return the same for replacement or refund. The produce was returned, duly acknowledged. Now the company is neither replacing with a new one nor refunding the cost paid by me.
Question : Should I report this to Cyber Crime Cell of Police or should I go for
Consumer Court. If you suggest Consumer Court, whether it will comm under
West Bengal jurisdiction ? The Coy is in Noida.
