damages by courier company

sir/madam

we booked a courier through blaze flash courier . which reached to our partry in damaged condition . so on seeing that consignment is damaged they have not accepted the delivery & returned the consignment to courier company to which they have damaged . on being inquired we came to lnow that material which in the custody of courier company upto now (25-06-08) had been damaged by mishandling or wrong transportation .

so we filed the complaint to courier company dated 16-04-08 to which they answered that we depend upon chain of service providers & parcel go to various hands. so such unplesant situation may arise. as far as damage to our consignment i they answered that it is not due to mishandling or negligence on our part but due to improper & insufficint packing of matrerial .they also answered that parcel being high value must be covered with an insurance cover( they never explained to us regarding insurance cover )

sir/ madam please help us regading this matter how to recover our loses for thier faults .

once the courier company accepts to deliver. they are duty bound to take care of the consignment.

You can file a complaint at consumer court against courier company

File a consumer complaint.

But to me, a lot depends upon the terms & conditions on the receipt of the courier company.
