Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
Dear Concerned,
I sued IDEA-Punjab in April-2010 in consumer court Chandigarh due to DND service not activted and by hon`ble court judgement was given in my favour and I was supposed to recv compensation and litigation charges within 30 days of recevng of judgemnt copy which was completed on 6-Nov-10. however now IDEA took stay order from state consumer court. Stay was applied after completion of deadline given by court.
Now I would like to know that is it as per law that can IDEA take stay order after completion of deadline or is it wrong? Same was also published in two reputed newspaer. links are given below..Request you to kindly suggest and reply as due to same I have not recvd the amount and service is still not activated.

Dear Bharat,
Yes the company can take stay even after the deadline. its solely on the discretion of the court whether to give stay or not in present circumstances.
At this stage you need to contest the case before the State Commission.
