Legal Question in Consumer Law in India

Dear Sir/Madam,

Last year I purchased some jewellerry from a jeweller in vashi. I gave my 23 Cr gold chain (hall marked), weight, 14.2 gms. And in return, he gave me 9.8 gm 22cr pendant (stone studded, weight 9.8 gm is gross weight) and one 1.27 gm ring. He charged me Rs. 1850/- extra too. That day rate of gold was Rs. 12850/- per 10 gms.

He also charged me for taxes when calculating his final bill, but when he gave me bill, it was having no mention of tax. On asking, why he has not written tax, he said, don't worry, we are here only. I was first time doing this type of dealing, so could not understand the things properly.

After that, last month I went to tanishque showroom, and want to exchange that 22cr. pendant against any other thing. He checked its purity on carrat meter and found that it was 18 cr only.

I am being cheated, now pl suggest, what can I do and how..???

You have no remedy as you cannot prove that sale was for 22cr.
