Legal Question in Consumer Law in India

Dear Sir,
We have 9 storey building out of which Part 7, 8 & 9 is unauthorised and each of these floor has 1 or 2 flats on it.
We have Hospital at 1st floor having common entrance to residents, Hospital and Basement.
Basement always get engaged with Labour class people and stores wood and chemicals.
On our floor there are 3 apartment out of which all remains closed throughout the day.
Our flat is at the corner wehrein there is no flat in front or on side and there is a common passage
wherein there are Columns brought out. Society members uses this passage for their personal use and make the place dirty which is in front of our flat.
I am a female stay alone at home and come home in the evening at 7.00pm.
Recently I had a robbery at my home in the afternoon and this is 4th robbery at our Society. Due to these robberies and insecurity I have had put Collapsable door in our passage wherein there is no flat around and asking Society to take key of that collapsable door and take the responsibilty od that passage so that our flat and place in front of my flat will be clean and get some security.However Society has asked us to remove that collapsable door. They are harassing us by not giving maintenance receipts and closing door when we approached Secretary. Could you please advice.

I am very scared to learn your problems faced by you. In our society law alone cannot

help a victim, other factors man power ,political connection etc. are other factors which

determine how you shall be able to cope with the problem. for making you advise other

factoes has to be considered. Since in your letter you stated you stay alone and

the entire circumstance goes against you, if you win a legal battle you are likely to face

a danger for your life. Hence my suggestion you should think other option. though as a

lawyer we should not advise like that. but always practical situation has to be taken into

account. I myself being a counsellor my advise may be something different. You may
