Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
Deficiency of service by BSNL
I took BSNL internet connection 5 months ago.I bought BSNL modem worth Rs 1200 on non-refundable basis. Since 3 months due to various practital reasons like damage to cablesroad due to road widening and poor underground cables i'm denied of internet service. Local officals offered me Wireless internet due to be launced in a month as a solution. I asked about compensation for Modem in any form, their reply was negative. BSNL's failure is costing me Rs 1200 and 3 months of agony and disappointment. Can i get justice through consumer courts for deficiency of service.
