Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
my friend was cheated by his maternal uncle as his uncle is a builder. 2 flats in thane district, home loan, EMI paying regularly, flat 1 is sold to more than 3 person and 4th person is residing, central bank of india wants to take possession as the 2nd party has failed to repay the homeloan, he is 3rd party. flat no 2 is owned by 1st party and he is a 2nd party. no possession of 2 flats from 2006 till date. FIR lodged against the uncle. all the agreements are registered and stamp duty has been paid by all the parties.
can he demand his entire financial losses from the uncle ? can he move to the consumer forum ? whether he can send notice to the registrar office to stop any further re-registration of the flats in this building because it has been found that all the flats in his building are sold to more than 2 persons. Kindly guide me.

apart from consumer forum, a complaint for cheating can also be lodged.
