Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
I am holding an Indian passport and I was returning from US from my business trip, on the exit from US the Visa (Form I-94) which was stapled to my passport was forcefully pulled out by the airline employee and it damaged my passport, The airline employee should have been careful while taking it out.Because of the airline's employee's carelessness I have suffered a damage, My personal and official travel is on hold and further to get a new passport I have to invest money and time.I wrote to the Airline's customer care they have given a reply stating that they will take 21 days to respond which is too much now,The airline is a middle east based airline and the problem occured at Chicago, as I had to board the flight I did not had the time to make a complaint at Chicago.I made my complaint after my return what is remedy avaialbe to me.
