Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
Multiple cheque dishoner for single client
Sir,
I have sell a product in Aug08 after getting the PO with PDC Chq. At the mention date on chq I deposit to my bank. I got the notice from the bank that it was dishonored due to insufficient fund.
Next day I inform my client about the situation, he apologized and told me to drop the chq a day after. I do the same, Again I found the same chq dishonour. I again call to my client but he didn't take my call. So I once again drop the chq to Bank. But this time I got the information from the bank that the party's account has been closed from the issue bank.
Next day I went to the Client's office, after screaming in front of their staff he agreed to give another fresh chq. I accept it and he issue me another fresh chq of same amount but from different company. The 1st issue company chq is still having with me.
I drop the new chq to my bank and again I got message for stop payment.
Again as above situation he issued me another fresh chq of same amt of same company. I also drop this chq but still I found chq dishonored due to insufficient fund.
Till date I am facing the same problem, what should I do.
Regards

Hello.
Good Afternoon.
At the earliest you may consult a local advocate and issue a legal notice to start proceedings against the said company.
