Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
We have purchased flat in Feb 2008 for which possession letter has still not been given. Occupation certificate is also not issued. The flat is registered in my husbands name however electricity bill etc is still on builders name. We have not paid the society charges which the builder had asked in advance for one year for society charges like water connection etc. Now I want to sell the flat i have following queries.
1) Do we have to pay society/ maintainance charges for the period Feb 2008 to Feb-2010.
2) Can the builder ask for transfer charges at rate of 250Rs.sqft.
Regards,
Tasneem.
