repayment of credit card payment

i had past overdue on my credit card payment. on 22nd may, 2009, my second payment of card will be due. iam willing to pay but only after a week, because i will have funds available till then, but bank recovery official is harrasing me and forcing me to pay in cash which i cannot do by 22nd may. iam willing to give them a post dated cheque. pls. help me.
