Stamp duty & registration
Along with registration do residential flats owned before 1985 need stamp suty also.

If the conveyance was not executed and registered prior to the year 1985 then the sale procedure was incomplete and accordingly you can not absolutely claim ownership before Court. If you want to have the deed of conveyance registered now or you are willing to register the agreement for sale, you are required to pay full stamp duty on such registration.
