Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
warranty for a product
dear sir,
importer sold a product to a distributor in 11th nov 2006. the dealer (under our distributor)sold this product to a consumer in 24th july 2008. now the customer is claiming service for the product.
please let me know what we should do.

immediately provide service or replacement as if he goes in consumer court and wins the case it will be costly for you both reputation wise and financially.

If the product sold is under the warranty you have to fulfil the promise,that's it.
