wrong billing amount refund claim
i have reliance mobile ph and my total billing till now shows around 6000+ calls but my ph lifetimer shows(samsung slim) shows only 2300 calls.samsung people said it is reliance problem as ph is giving actual calls.tried to contact reliance but no one listens and gives stupid explainations.according to samsung service center they say its reliance billing prob and they are charging excess amount.can i claim a refund of my excess bill amount and any penanlty charges on reliance.i heard we can take help from consumer court.pls advice me.

Dear Sir,
You can ask for a detailed itemised bill of the calls made by you and verify whether the calls were actually made by you or not. You can approach a consumer court for your grevience with help of you lawyer or you can approach it directly.

If you are sure that you did not make the calls as shown in the bill, don't pay it. Immediately consult a good lawyer in your area who practises consumer law and he can guide you out of this trouble. The call details shown in the telephone bill is not a conclusive proof that the said call were made by you. Apply for a detailed bill. Varify the details therein for correctness and if you see any descripancies, show them to your lawyer. Yes, consumer court can help you a lot, in cases like this.
