Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India
I booked a car with an authorised dealer in new delhi and later upon taking a test drive realised that it wasn't quite what i had expected. SO I stopped payment of the booking amount cheque that i had given him. Is there a possibility that the dealer can bring up a case against me in a court of law? they got me to sign all the requisite forms etc. and there is a condition of deduction of Rs. 5000 on the booking amount in case of cancellation.

i do not think that the dealer will rake up this issue. relax and look for some other vehicle. read more on indian laws on my website www.karvai.in.
If the dealer troubles you ,which i think otherwise, engage a lawyer to defend you properly ,till then relax. Please check Sanjay Kalra and Associates on the internet to know more about our law firm and the legal services we are rendering for our clients from all over the World.
