cheque bounce

If I have got a cheque and that bounces, and I do not know the person's address for issuing notice. In this case, do I have the right to know the address of account holder from the bank( In which the issuer hold the account).

Under which capacity you had received the cheque? What is your relation with drawer?You must have to know the address and name of the person to send notice and to initiate proceeding.

this is very much difficult and you have to use procedure to find his her address from bank as bank will not tell you the address easily.

you must be aware of the address of the person who gave you the cheque.

you can contact the bank manager and ask (him in writing) - and then the ombudsmen of the bank / customer cell will help you!
