Cheque Bouncing

I have taken A car Private Car loan for TATA Motors on MAR08, I am paying my installment regularly which is Rs. 6110/- per month. but on june 08 my car got accident & the repairint cost coming to Rs. 80,000/- Approx. Although i have paid my installment in time but on november08 i have given a letter (along with policereport ) to the complany aking them to give me atleast three months time by this time my insurance amount will come directlyto the company. But company rejected my proposal & they have presented the cheques & it got bounced. Now company issued me notice u/s 138 against bouncing of cheques. so, at this position what should i do.

You should better arrange funds and send them the money in response to their demand notice. It may better to avoid litigation. You may have a very week defence.
