cheque dishonour

I have signed a cheque knowing that I am a Director, but after searching with ROC, I found that no form32 was submitted gainst my name. a case was filed gainst me, being the signatoty of the cheque as Director. what should be my stand to save myself?

you signed cheque as director under the belief and if you have found it otherwise then let it know to the person concerned and the court. engage a good lawyer.
