Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I have a credit card and got it blocked two years before and have not opted for any insurance while filling the application, but the representatives call me few days back and were asking to pay 2000 rupees on behalf of the insurance premium amount deducted from my card. i am not aggreeing to repay the same. but the bank is warning me to take legal action.

You may write them a registered letter for cancellation of the insurance and the card also.

If you are sure that you have not attended any phone call offering insurance (these companies maintain voice recording) and have not consented for any Insurance faclity, premium to be deducted from your card, then you must drag them to consumer forum, you will win the case.
