Re: Credit card dues international(intrest payment)
Immediately do the following:-
(1) Take out the correspondence addressed by your husband to the bank after returning to India.
(2) Offer/pay the Bank the amount due to them. All correspondence under regd-ad.
(3) If the Bank disputes and wants the inflated amount, based on the documents available with you issue a legal notice.
(4) File a consumer case for deficiency of services (as a counter pressure).
(5) Keep defending against any action by the Bank
Re: Credit card dues international(intrest payment)
I am sure the dispute can be settled by negotiations with the bank, either at the local level or at the head office level. I have had the experience of doing so on behalf of certain clients previously.
However, it is necessary that you have with you all relevant correspondence with the bank regarding the credit card.
