Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Credit card i held would have had at best a few thousands in 2006, i remember of informing the call center about my change of address. they didnt correspond then now after six years they are claiming 2lacs from me.. what do i do?, According to them there is no info on my change of address and they have been sending the correspondence to the address initially given.

approach a lawyer and he would send them a legal notice for refraining them from claiming the same after six years being time barred.
