Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I have a credit card and for the past 6 months I have not been able to make regular payments. the bank has closed my card and a recovery agency is harassing me. I still get the cc statement and try to make minimum amount due payment . What action can the bank take against me? I am willing to pay the amount but it will take me sometime hence I am at least managing small payments for now

You approach the bank office and explain your situation and if necessary write a letter as well. That way your problem can be resolved.
