Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Hi. I had a few credit cards in India. I could not pay up and i defaulted. I got a foreign job and left India for good. It has been more than 7 years since this happened. Will the credit card companies be able to legally sue me.what are the chances that they will pursue with this.

Law of limitation provides a period of three years for filing the claim.
