Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Dear Sir,

I was in Dubai and took 2 Personal Loans from different Bank and some Credit Card also. I used to pay my 4 EMI also. But due to Global financial crises, the company had sacked me without any prior notice and I have no option but to rturn back to India. I was tried my level best to get job again in Dubai, but could get succes. Now I am India and working with local company and survive my family in bad condition. After 2-3 years I dont know how the bank trace my mobile no and continue calling for settlement dues. As I am not in a condition to settle this amount in short term time.

Sir, Please help me out by your advise enable me to take further steps.

Also let me know they can ask for credit card settlement.

where in India are you located? you may approach a lawyer and he would send a legal notice to the local operators of the bank and even after the notice, the collection agent does not stop harassing you, you may go for a criminal complaint.
