Debts

My Father in law has made huge debts .If he passes away will my husband has to pay them?my husband has nothing to do with the debts.these debts were made beforw we got married and mow we also have a child.That money was spent for my sister in laws education.

if your husband will take property of his father then he will be liable to pay otherwise not

your husband`s liability would arise only in circumstances he inherit any propoerty from father in law, otherwise he has no personal liability

Though your husband has no liability to repay the debts but if you or your husband had inherited any property of your father then the liability to repay the debts would be restricted to the value of inherited property.
