Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I gave personal guarantee to my brother in law who has become defaulter. Bank is going auction my property since the principal borrower has no assets and also expired . When the auctioned amount is less than the bank liability whether bank has any right to attach the salary of my son and whether my son also liable to pay the dues to the bank..
