Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I am an indian now leaving outside the country. one of my friend from india murdered one of our another friend by poisoning and got caught and facing the trial now . there is another person who is charged with conspiracy who informed my another friend living abroad that this person charged with conspiracy informed him few months back that the murderer was having a plan before to acquire money from the died person and avoid him any manner but he didn�t succeeded and never expected that he will do it again. will my friend (residing abroad) who got the information that the killer was having such a plan before will be any way offensive by law or can be charged with conspiracy. please note the killer is having a clean image and is unbelievable that he will commit such a crime.
