Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I issued a cheque to a CC company, due to suspicion, I had it blocked at my banks end. Does such a case hold water under IPC 138?

Would I be in a problem for this?

Obviously the CC company presented the cheque and did not get paid. However I requested the stop payment instructions.
