Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I had taken loan from HSBC IN THE YEAR 2007THE LOAN AMOUNT WAS AROUND 80000 AND INCLUDING INTREST THEY HAVE TOLD ME THAT MY TOTAL AMOUNT IS 170000. i HAD PAID SOME OF THE INSTALLMENTS .THEN AFTER SOME TIME I HAD TO LEAVE THE JOB DUE TO ILLNESS. Then onwards the loan is pending. The actual date of the last EMI was last years in AUGUST. Now after long period the bank people are comming and asking to pay the money or else they have instructed that they will file a case against me. Kindly let me know what shall i do

you may ask them to go n file case instead of harassing you. you may seek help of a local lawyer in case you need police help.
