Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India
i have lost my job due to recession and havent been able to get a nother job for the last 5 months i have defaulted on my citibank personal loan for the past 4 monts , now the recovery guys are calling me and asking me about the money, i have been telling all the recovery agents my situation... but what can be the worst case scenario here ?
if they go to the police or court what should be my premptive plan?

You have to return the money. but you can contact the manager and submit your application for taking time else they can even file any criminal case or can attach your property etc whichever is provided by you against said loan.
