Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I was mortgaged my land (1200 Sq.Ft) with one person for Rs.50,000/- for loan tenure 24 months, he registered the document with registered office. This was happened 2008 and after completion of loan period, the person upsconded with my orginal land documents. now he is untraceable.

How can I get my Original document? Is it possible to apply for duplicate land document.
