We have received one cheque against the supply of material on the condition that the amount will be remitted by way of ' RTGS Transfer ' within 10 days and the chequeo be returned thereafter. The customer could not pay in 5 months . Since the validity period is getting over , we presented the cheque and it got returned. Can we proceed under Negotaible instrument act.
