Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

If i don't pay credit card payment at all then what will happen, my debt is Rs. 3 laks in 4 cards, used by my friend, I can pay only Rs. 50000. My family has been harassed by collection department.

The collection department cannot cause any harassment. However, the card company can file a suit for recovery and may seek attachment of your property / assets and obtain a decree. If they resort to litigation, they may recover the costs of litigation from you.

Try to settle the dispute amicably and avoid litigation.
