Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India
Sir, I dropped a cheque at SBI of which i don't have payin slip /receipt note. I found someone stole & overwrite it and sent it for clearnce to my bank PNB and PNB overlooked overwritng and cleared the amount and debited me. Plase tell me how can i get my money back and how to claim my money. Which bank is responsbile for such fraud.

how much is the amount of money involved. you may simply approach a lawyer or a bank ombudsman for redressing your grievances.
File a a criminal against the person who has used your cheque and got the amount credited in his account , you can also book the official of your bank who have cleared your cheque despite the over writing.
both, PNB and SBI may be responsible for criminal negligence.
