Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Sir, My father has given 14 blank signed cheques in order to get loan of Rs. 4 lakhs to a Private financier. Now, he is using that balnk cheque (Posted in bank for 13 lakhs and the bank returned the cheque saying "Funds insufficient") and filed a case under Fast Track Court. How to prove the court that my father have given cheques only for security purpose?
