Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I am a smal bussiness man. I used to buy unilever goods from a salesman who used to make forgery names on bills. I always signed those bils. But now that salesman has escaped taking all the payment which i made against those bills. Now the owner of that distributing firm asking me to pay the bills which i have already paid to that salesman. Now the owner is saying that he will lodge a complaint against us. At this moment what i should do? pls help me soon.

Since you have the bills with you and you have paid the money, contact Lawyer and through Lawyer approach the Police for complaint against the alleged Cheat. www.lawconcern.com- Chennai & Bangalore.
